Voices of GIST: Myrto Eftychiou, former student

I still have fond memories of our trip to Camp Pine Crest, where we spent a few days doing various activities, such as an adventurous canoe trip. We had a picnic together on an island.

That was one of my best experiences at GIST. Another thing I really liked was the German lessons. I think it was good that you could always develop and improve at GIST. The teachers were always very supportive and helped us along.

The biggest difference to my current school is the language. At GIST we spoke a lot of German and now at my Canadian school we mostly speak English. Also, GIST is very small, so you get to know each other quickly because it's a family environment, and I think that's the good thing about it.
