A Movie Afternoon in the West
As part of our 25-year celebrations, the Goethe-Institut’s KidsKino joins us for a special movie afternoon. We are excited to present Lene und die Geister des Waldes (ages 4+), a magical tale set in the forest, and Cleo (ages 9+), a heartwarming adventure through Berlin. After the movies, we invite families to share their impressions of the film.
The movies
Lene und die Geister des Waldes
Seven-year-old Lene's initial lack of enthusiasm for the planned summer holiday in the Bavarian Forest soon turns into a huge lust for adventure as she explores, together with her new-found friends, the secrets of the forest with its stories and mythical figures, turtle races, luminescent mushrooms, and tree houses - and along the way, big questions like humanity's responsibilities as part of nature.

Cleo – If I could turn back time
